Collages may include for example elements of fabric, wire and beads to create a 3D effect.
Wallhangings are created from a variety of satins, velvet, metallic fabrics etc to produce a rich texture and are finished with braids and beads. Both small and large wallhangings are possible and can be designed to fit a particular space; the largest wallhangings commissioned so far measure approximately 6 metres wide by 4 metres high.
Each wallhanging or silk painting is unique; the interpretation of a design will depend on the fabrics and colours used, so designs may be reproduced but still give a distinctly original product. The maximum size for silk paintings is smaller than that for wallhangings; contact us for more information if required.
